Mother's Day 2010 is the best mother's day thus far. I could not have received a better present then to attend a graduation ceremony watching my Prodigal son receive his Culinary Certification from Asheville-Buncombe Technical College.

To watch him receive his certification with the biggest silly smile I have ever seen made my heart leap with joy that I have never experienced. You see, this Prodigal son and the very one I wrote about in A Mother's Cry: He's Still My Child has now shown that his mindset has changed. He now make choices that are productive and not self-destruction. Praise God and Hallelujah! My stress, pain, and tears were not in vain. My prayers have been answered.
