Greetings! I can't believe it has been over two month since I had my book dedication for A Mother's Cry-He's Still My Child. Sunday, March 11, 2007; 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.; Historic YMI Cultural Center; Asheville, North Carolina.

It was an awesome experience! God is so good! There were over 100 people who attended...youth, mothers, fathers, elderly, black, and white. Rev. David Robinson opened the dedication with a most powerful prayer! The prayer of dedication delivered by Minister Andrea Purcell was awesome! People stood and spoke on how empowering the book is and get this...two parents spoke out about their own personal situation with their sons, for the very first time. It was awesome! They had started reading the book, started on my journey with me, but there came a point in the road, where they went off onto their own journey!

I have received so many wonderful comments, but most important, each reader is receiving exactly what God wants him or her to receive. This can be anywhere from being freed from any bondage of their mind, better understanding of a challenging youth, or knowing what a mother of a challenging child within a challenging system feels.

You have got to get your copy and be sure to tell a family member or a friend! As a matter of fact, if you think you got enemies, then tell them, too! I have been obedient and planted the seed in publishing this book. God opened the doors, nurturing is being done by all who read and talk about the book, and I do believe, as the word tells me, God will provide the increase of families coming together, adults and authoritative figures coming together and working in a collaborative effort for the benefit of our children, the youth, our future ... a start of a healing throughout our land.

I will follow up with a schedule of my journey since the birth of a Mother's Cry-He' Still My Child.

Be at peace; keep a spiritual outlook; and no matter what the situation may be, remember God is always in control!
